About paper, canvas and Priting method


This is the technique to produce museum-quality prints.
This means that my artworks can be enjoyed for decades, retaining the same vibrancy and richness of colors as when they were first created.
By producing my works as Limited editions through this system, I can maintain the exclusivity and value of each print. This appeals to both art collectors and art lovers, offering something special and unique that isn’t available in mass-produced reproductions.
Giclée printing involves high-quality inkjet technology:
Inks: Giclée prints often use pigment-based inks rather than dye-based inks. Pigment-based inks have better lightfastness and resistance to fading, making them ideal for archival purposes.
Substrates: These prints are often made on high-quality archival paper or canvas:
Paper:
- Archival Paper: archival-quality paper specifically designed for fine art printing. These papers are made from high-quality materials like cotton rag or alpha-cellulose and are acid-free, ensuring longevity. The paper weight is so important, the paper used is so heavy, over 300 grs.
- I ususually use different finishes as matte or semi-gloss.
